Duncan McAusland, an Associate Consultant of GDP Global, is an international marketing and promotional expert, working for both private sector clients and public agencies, particularly promotional agencies such as IPAs and ministries of tourism.
His experiences over the last forty years includes consumer research, strategy formulation, campaign development, creative design, artwork production as well as print and broadcast materials procurement. He has worked across the world, including developing countries.
Duncan worked for 10 years with the Invest in Sweden Agency with continuous production and development of investor marketing materials, leaflets, and support materials, and prepared display materials for exhibitions, sector events/trade shows/press conferences and investor round tables.
He has also worked as senior consultant on an EU funded project to support the Moldovan Investment and Export Promotion Organisation (MIEPO) where he delivered an investment promotion marketing campaign and developed a theme based on “Make it in Moldova”. He prepared a PowerPoint show and transferred his skills to local consultants and staff to enable in-house editing and production. He also helped develop a complete range of printed support materials: FDI leaflets, sector and general information guides.
